Virginia creeper is a flowering, perennial, woody vine that blooms in the spring.
Virginia creeper has a vast distribution. It is present mainly in the eastern and central regions of North America (Kartesz, 1999). It is frequently found growing in the hammocks and floodplain forests throughout the state of Florida (Wunderlin, 2003).
